Meet the Team: Leo, Michael, Ricky, and Señor Harkins

About Us

Leo is from Maryland, and enjoys fishing, playing rugby, and lifitng weights. Michael is proudly from Long Island and is forever loyal to the Mets, Jets, and his girlfriend. Ricky, from Spain, loves telling jokes and playing soccer, as well as watering plants. Peter, also from New York, is going to be a farmer when he grows up!

The LoRa Farms Story

The goal of LoRa Farms (aka Agg Data) is to create a low-power farm monitoring and control system. By creating a network of sensor modules spread across a property, the farmer or property owner can better understand and track the conditions under which his land and crops may exist. By use of LoRa Radio Protocol, simple transmissions can be sent on a schedule to the base module in the farmer's home, and the server UI can allow the farmer to download the recorded data, as well as control relays to activate things such as heat lamps, fans, sprinklers, shades, and more.
