Fun Fact: She always dreamed of being an elementary school teacher, but during her undergraduate career discovered her passion for engineering in the environmental justice context.

My name is Jeff Mwathi, and I come from Nairobi, Kenya. I have always been passionate about Electrical Engineering, particularly the Internet of Things (IoT) and its potential to make the world a more interconnected place. My long-term goal is to revolutionize the field of IoT across the African continent, driving transformative change in sectors such as agriculture, smart cities, and healthcare. I believe that with the right innovation and infrastructure, IoT can empower communities, optimize systems, and unlock new opportunities for sustainable development throughout the continent.

Hi, I'm Jeffrey Yang, a graduating EE senior! I'm originally from Rochester, MI, but I currently reside in St. Edward's Hall. In my free time, I enjoy playing chess and the trombone—I am a proud member of the ND Marching Band!
