The Team
Ryan Bernhold
Ryan (white shirt) is from Minster, Ohio, a small town located an hour due north of Dayton, Ohio. He comes from a long line of golden-domers, including his brother, father, two uncles, two cousins and grandfather. Ryan is a sports fanatic and his favorite teams are the Cleveland Cavaliers, Browns, and Indians. In this project, Ryan enjoyed the process of designing the board as well as constructing the cart. He will be attending the University of Dayton next year to get an M.S.E.E.
Matthew DePorre
Matthew (blue shirt) is from Rochester Hills, Michigan, and will be returning there post graduation. Matthew will be going on to work at General Motors as a controls engineer at the Detroit-Hamtramck Assembly plant. On his free time Matt enjoys reading, painting, and tinkering with electronics. Matt is fascinated by aquatic life and owns a large aquarium full of exotic fish. In the future, he plans to return to school to achieve an MBA and go on to win at life.
Rachel Drumm
Rachel (green shirt) is from West Chester, Ohio. She is double majoring in Electrical Engineering and Theology, with hopes of attaining enlightenment. After graduation, she will be working in Georgia with Procter & Gamble as a Power, Controls, and Information Systems Engineer in a paper products plant. She looks forward to using her degree to touch and improve the lives of toilet paper consumers nationwide. Outside of schoolwork, Rachel serves as the President of Notre Dame Right to Life, the Vice President of Tau Beta Pi engineering honors society, and is a Sorin Fellow for the Center of Ethics and Culture.
Colleen Tigani
Colleen (navy shirt) is from Derwood, Maryland, a suburb of Washington, D.C. She has specialized her Electrical Engineering degree with a concentration in semiconductors and nanotechnology. After graduation, she will work for Global Foundries in Fishkill, NY. Outside of the classroom, Colleen is very involved with the Notre Dame Women's Rugby Team, playing for all four years of her college career, and serving as President for the last two. She hopes to continue her involvement with rugby in the future alongside her engineering career.
