Bluetooth
We were able to successfully get a serial communication link working but this would not be sufficient for audio transmission. It would only be sufficient for transmitting the hearing profile data, not streaming music. Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP) would be required for our desired application.
Active Noise Cancellation
In order to get active noise cancellation working, we set up a test circuit shown to the right. We experimented with different levels of noise and used the circuit to the right to get a basic implementation working.
Part of our noise cancellation testing was simulating different types of enviornments by introducing different levels of noise. This was done using the software shown to the left, the very robust apx500 program. This is a high level audio analysis program that we were lucky enought to have access to.
