Shannon Garvey
My name is Shannon Garvey. I am a section leader in the Band of the Fighting Irish where I play the Falto. I have a studio art minor in addition to my electrical engineering major. I decided to add the minor because it gives me some hands on design and manufacturing experience, not to mention it is just fun to do. In addition to art and music, I enjoy playing video games and reading. This summer I will be starting at Raython as a Systems Engineer I at their Tewkesbury, MA location. In the future I would like to get a masters degree in Electrical Engineering and get a cat.
Benjamin Johnson
Ben is a graduating senior pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering. Upon graduation he will pursue a career as a FPGA and embedded systems engineer at the MITRE corporation in Bedford, MA. He was born in Indianapolis, IN but moved to Manassas, VA at the age of 9. Some of his interests include reading classic mystery novels, playing table-top role playing games, and climbing mountains.
Steven Ohanesian
My name is Steven Ohanesian. I like long walks on the beach and a beautiful sunset. The occasional endeavor disproportionately related to my ability with a new hobby is my preferred way to spend time. There is just something fun about being terrible at something. Speaking of that, cooking as a skill is far too underrated, taking both knowledge/ skill as well as good judgement. Value the people you find in life who have this skill.
I will be working at On Semiconductor in the fall. I enjoy yoga, beer, traveling and philosophizing. I plan on using the knowledge produced from this senior design class to help my brother start a company. Electrical engineering is the study of connecting stuff. Let's make the world a better place by connecting with others!
